As one of the UK’s fastest growing digital consultancies, we are proud to share that Waracle and our CEO have been recognised across three major industry awards, underlining our shared ambition, innovation, leadership, and strong growth.
Our CEO, David Tuck, has been selected as one of The LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders for 2026.
This announcement comes alongside two further recognitions for our business including selection as a 2026 Trailblazer by WIRED Consulting in partnership with HSBC Commercial Banking, and a place on the finalist shortlist for Financial Services Innovation at the Scottish Financial Technology Awards 2026.
Created by private equity investor LDC (part of Lloyds Banking Group) in partnership with The Times, The LDC Top 50 has celebrated hundreds of UK entrepreneurs since 2018.
Out of 650 nominations this year, 50 entrepreneurs and business leaders were chosen for their appetite for growth, innovation, investing in their people, and building a more competitive UK economy. Together, their businesses generate £1.4bn in annual revenues and employ almost 8,500 people across 55 towns and cities.
Today, our team has grown to over 330 people working across five hubs in London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, and Sofia, Bulgaria. We design and engineer digital products across highly regulated sectors, including health, financial services, energy, and the public sector, to address complex technology challenges.
Following 30% turnover growth in 2025, we have maintained strong commercial momentum in 2026, delivering over 30% organic revenue growth alongside ten major new client wins across both private and public sectors, supported by over 100 new hires. Looking ahead, our 2028 vision is to scale to a team of 500 across the UK and Bulgaria, while reaching £60m in revenue.

John Garner, Managing Partner at LDC, said: “What stands out about this year’s LDC Top 50 is not only what these leaders have already achieved, but their determination to keep moving forward. Across the UK, they are finding new opportunities, investing in their people and building for the future. I congratulate every leader featured this year and wish them continued success.”
Delivered in partnership with HSBC UK, the WIRED Trailblazers programme recognises a select group of small and medium-sized businesses that are redefining industry standards through innovation, driving growth, and leading positive change.
Waracle was chosen for our proven track record of delivering innovative digital products, data, and AI solutions for leading organisations across the UK. David joined fellow honourees in London to celebrate this recognition and share insights on scaling up and the future of tech leadership.
Further demonstrating our impact in highly regulated sectors, we have also been named a finalist for the Financial Services Innovation 2026 award at the Scottish Financial Technology Awards, alongside our pension and savings partner Mylo from Aegon.
Our nomination for our work on ‘Postcards from tomorrow’ places us alongside prominent finalists including BlackRock, JP Jenkins, and Lloyds Banking Group. This category recognises established financial services companies demonstrating the greatest success in using technology to drive improvement, innovation, or organisational transformation.
