Waracle’s new home in Bulgaria

To be a trusted digital product partner for our clients and to build exceptional software, we need an exceptional environment. If we want our teams to raise the bar, enjoy the journey, and deliver career-defining work, we have to provide a workplace that actively inspires them to do so.

That is why we are incredibly proud to unveil our new Sofia headquarters, located in one of the city’s most well-connected areas.

You can now find us on the third floor of WorkHub’s OXIA building, located at 44 Tsarigradsko Shousse Boulevard – just a short walk from Sofia Tech Park and right next  to the Arena Sofia.

Why we made the move

After welcoming the Sofia-based software agency HackSoft into the fold, we committed to investing heavily in our Bulgarian team. What started as a talented team of 55 professionals in November has rapidly grown to almost 70 specialists in less than 6 months.

This rapid momentum made one thing clear – we needed an environment that could not only handle our scale, but nurture our culture of transparency and shared success. We set out to find a workspace that could adapt as we grow, designed to support our ambitious plan to scale our Sofia team to 150 people by 2028. 

Our new space in the OXIA building is an absolute perfect fit. Being right next to Sofia Tech Park puts us in the heart of the local tech ecosystem, surrounded by key industry conferences, community events, and tech initiatives. At the same time, we are highly accessible from both Vasil Levski Airport and the city centre. Plus, having green spaces on our doorstep offers our team an opportunity to step outside, recharge, and clear their minds.

We’ve moved away from rigid office layouts to create a fluid, transparent environment where cross-functional teams naturally connect. Our new space supports agile, modern workflows. 

The layout features:

• Flexible Workstations: With hybrid collaboration in mind, our 40-desk configuration perfectly supports our growing local team. This setup allows for total flexibility – giving everyone a fluid space to plug in, bounce ideas off colleagues, spark spontaneous brainstorms, or quickly collaborate on complex engineering challenges when they are in the office.
• Dynamic Hubs: Versatile meeting spaces make hosting collaborative client sessions or rapid team stand-ups effortless. To relax and socialise, the team has access to a spacious communal kitchen, shared building amenities, and two balconies (one private and one shared).
• Quiet Zones & Deep Focus: The open-plan workspace is carefully balanced with quiet zones and private call pods, ensuring the team have the exact environment they need for intensive sprints.
• The View: Flooded with natural light, the office features panoramic windows overlooking the bustling Tsarigradsko Shousse corridor on one side and the stunning Peaks of Vitosha Mountain on the other.
