Job description

Waracle are looking for a Principal Product Manager for an exciting new role joining our world-class digital technology consultancy and home to a diverse, smart, curious and ambitious community of specialists in technology-driven transformation.

We work with ambitious clients to help them solve their biggest business and customer challenges. We help our clients to innovate and create intelligent digital products and services. We thrive on complex challenges and deliver business-critical IT transformation projects, moving seamlessly from strategy, design and delivery to operations.

This is a Hybrid role working from our London office 2 days a week.

Shaping the Future of Product at Waracle

Are you a collaborative product leader who thrives on bringing clarity to complex spaces and lifting up the teams around you? As a Principal Product Manager, you will act as a vital champion for our growing Product Practice, operating as a trusted advisor to executive and C-suite stakeholders. In this highly collaborative multiplier role, you won’t just manage products—you will architect the very discovery and delivery frameworks that empower our cross-functional squads to succeed. If you are a holistic thinker who loves bridging the space between Product, UX, and Delivery, and you enjoy mentoring the next generation of product talent, we would love to welcome your perspective to our team.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Strategic Vision: Developing the 3–5 year strategic focus for high-stakes propositions, blending deep research with collaborative insights to uncover new market opportunities.
  • Discovery Architecture: Leading inclusive, cross-functional discovery programmes that turn ambiguous business challenges into clearly validated product journeys.
  • Product Governance: Designing and embedding best-practice discovery frameworks across the organisation, ensuring our backlogs are structured to deliver genuine value to customers.
  • Cross-Team Orchestration: Guiding multiple squads through complex dependencies, building supportive environments that simplify large-scale programmes.
  • Data & Value Realisation: Helping teams define meaningful, long-term business metrics and nurturing advanced data capabilities across the wider organisation.
  • Executive Partnership: Cultivating trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, facilitating alignment sessions to shape multi-year goals, and mindfully managing risks.
  • Mentorship & Coaching: Providing warm, impactful thought leadership to support Product Managers with their communication, navigation of complex spaces, and career progression.
  • Commercial Growth: Infusing creative product thinking into new business proposals and partnering with our Client Services Group to evolve our consulting offerings.

What you'll bring

  • Consultancy Leadership: Extensive experience guiding product strategy within a digital consultancy environment, with a proven ability to foster collaboration and deliver client value.
  • Delivery Leadership: A strong track record of supporting and guiding multiple cross-functional squads or complex portfolios.
  • Agile Strategy & Frameworks: A deep, practical understanding of scaled Agile frameworks and modern, human-centred delivery models.
  • Data-Informed Strategy: Comfort using delivery data and core product metrics to gently challenge assumptions and shape impactful client strategies.
  • Executive Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a history of building trust with executive and C-suite leaders.
  • Organisational Design: Experience helping shape, resource, and nurture team structures during complex enterprise agile transformations.
  • Domain Credibility: The ability to quickly grasp technical concepts, clarify ambiguous requirements, and provide supportive, authoritative guidance.
  • Proactive & Collaborative Mindset: A positive, results-oriented approach that prioritises open communication, team alignment, and thoughtful progress.

We take pride in delivering high quality work and seeing the impact it has. We are curious, proactive, and always learning; continuously improving ourselves and our skills. We strive for excellence in everything we do. We see every opportunity as a chance to raise the bar - for Waracle, our clients, and for our own professional growth.

This commitment to one another empowers everyone to do their best work and reach their full potential. We build trust, celebrate every contribution, and create a space where everyone has the opportunity to shine.

We have big goals, but we don’t try to do everything. We know there are a limited number of hours in a day, so we make every one of them count. We accomplish this by regularly pausing to assess the potential impact of our work, prioritising what matters most and then acting with purpose.

We are transparent in how we think and act. We seek and share context, give and accept feedback, and communicate openly. We take full ownership of what we deliver as individuals and as a team, and hold ourselves accountable. This openness and accountability gives us the clarity and purpose to deliver at our best.

We love what we do and find the fun in each day, celebrating our shared successes and the satisfaction of doing hard work well. We’re in this together, creating space for connection, laughter, and fun. When we look after our clients and each other, and do work we’re proud of, we go home happy.
