The Data We Collect

If you complete our funding application form, we will collect and securely store the following information:

  • Organisation Name
  • Charity registration number
  • Organisation address
  • Organisation website / social media
  • Applicant name
  • Applicant email
  • Organisation summary
  • Project need
  • Project summary
  • Budget summary
  • Amount requested

Lawful Purpose

We collect contact details from the charity donations application form in order to properly assess the applications. The lawful purpose for processing this data is CONSENT as defined by the UK DPA 2018, which is obtained during the completion of the application form.

We hold your data securely in applications, which are fully compliant with all applicable data protection regulation and which are designed for this purpose.

Data Sharing (Internal)

Our Spirit of Waracle committee will have access to this information in order to process your application. This data will not be used for any other purpose by Waracle and it will not be shared with any other department or team within the Waracle organisation.

Data Sharing (Third Parties)

Your data will not be shared with any other third party for any other purpose.

Data Retention

After 12 months, we remove any personal information from applications. This means removing the applicant name and email address. However, we do keep a record of which charities have applied for funding and their reason for application etc. This is to help us process future applications and for auditing purposes.
