Job Description

  • Exciting position for a Senior New Business Executive to grow our sales pipeline for  innovative mobile technologies within Digital Health, based in England, preferably London, Cambridge or Oxford.

    You’ll be an excellent communicator, negotiator and influencer with those skills built in some part through experience in the life sciences industries. Experience in R&D and/or Commercial would be valuable. Technically, you’ll be able to analyse opinions to quickly make quality decisions  based on sound judgement. You will be effective in identifying trends and making recommendations based on your insight and the opinions of colleagues and contacts. You’ll be continually looking for new ways of working to augment the impact of your efforts – experimenting, researching and executing your plans to deliver sales success in the rapidly growing market for digital technologies in healthcare.  You’ll be a hardworking, tenacious team player and you will approach change with a positive outlook, identifying the potential opportunities presented by that change.  

     

    The role includes day to day new business development and the ability to effectively and constructively engage with clients in the healthcare communities of industry, providers and Healthcare professionals. The ability to work in partnership with marketing, design & development colleagues is essential. This will require excellent written and verbal communication skills & knowledge of healthcare and the industries that service it.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Opening up new business opportunities in healthcare
    • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets – focused on new business
    • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the client base across the range of healthcare market segments 
    • Building and promoting strong, long-lasting client relationships by forming lasting partnerships with them based on a clear understanding of their specific needs
    • Presenting sales, revenue and expense reports, and realistic forecasts to the management team
    • Identifying trends, market shifts and emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new competing products and the status of competitors 
    • Working closely across multiple departments to uncover and progress new growth opportunities

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of successful experience as a sales manager and/or director, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Experience within a digital/mobile agency, technology specialists company, digital health, pharma, medical technology marketplace
  • Strategic in identifying and evaluating opportunities and operational in accessing their value
  • Experienced in servicing high-end revenue and corporate accounts
  • Goal oriented, self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced and time sensitive environment
  • Strong business sense and market expertise
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from inception to close
  • Exceptional professional interpersonal and communication skills and adhere to the highest ethical standards
  • Proficient in G-Suite tools, as well as Salesforce or other CRM.
