Waracle is seeking to appoint a Release Analyst who shares our desire to deliver great outcomes for our customers. Blending a combination of Project management and Service management skills along with an eye for technical detail.

This position can be based in any of our offices (London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Glasgow) but offers remote working

 

The role of a Release Analyst within the Digital Solutions Service & Release Management team is an exciting opportunity to both apply and grow your skills across the full software delivery lifecycle.

  • Work closely with Squad Teams and Scrum Masters scheduling and planning releases 
  • Have on-going communication with your colleagues in the Service & Release Management Team; working collaboratively 
  • Engage frequently with Service & Technical Operations Teams managing changes through ITIL Change Management processes 
  • Co-ordinate software implementations across Test and Live Environments (getting hands-on where possible!) 
  • Provide support to Service Management Teams in the event of incidents on the Digital Platform 
  • Grab opportunities to enhance our Agile Adoption 
  • Build your knowledge of our Digital Applications, becoming an SME for all things Digital Release

Requirements

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for communicating across both Business and Technology teams
  • A firm understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with enterprise change management and project management tools, preferably Service Now and Jira
  • A love for problem solving with a keen eye for detail
  • The drive and motivation to continually deliver high quality results working in a fast-paced environment
