As a Technical Principal Consultant at Waracle, you will be responsible for leading the technical delivery of a complex client engagement. You are a seasoned leader with many years of relevant experience, have excellent communication skills and love to inspire, teach, and coach teams.
You will be one step ahead of the team, looking at how we ensure technical excellence across our solution design, implementation and deployment into staging and production environments.
This position will be remote however there will be an expectation that you will be able to travel when necessary to meet clients and attend meetings, UK Wide. This is a permanent position.
Requirements
- A passion for tech and the belief that it can be an enabler for improving people’s lives.
- Experience supporting pre-sales and account teams in crafting exciting technology proposals that bring our client's vision and ambitions to life.
- An understanding of the technology challenges — and the related people challenges — faced by organisations and can confidently help our clients to navigate these waters.
- The ability to proactively build trusted advisor relationships with CTO/COO and other senior leaders, creating the opportunity to help define and deliver their tech strategies.
- Experience working with, and influencing, enterprise advisory groups.
- As much confidence in talking about financial projections and the business impact of proposed solutions as you are advocating for technical practices like continuous delivery.
- Experience introducing agile/lean/continuous delivery to an enterprise environment and understanding related people, technology and business impacts.
- Significant experience and a deep understanding of different architectures, tools & languages and facilitate good architectural decisions and implementation.
- The ability to take the needs and challenges of an organisation and formulate a technical roadmap and technology solution to support business strategies and goals.
- Deep experience in orchestrating the management of technology scope and risks.
- The skills and credibility to mentor Waracle’s experts on approach and execution of solutions, coach on technologies and influence a team-wide alignment.
- An understanding of the importance of taking people along on the journey and can influence and coach those around you to orchestrate team success.
- You’re abreast of current and emerging technologies, practices, languages and products.
- The determination to drive Waracles thought-leadership on technology-related topics.
