Waracle is looking for talented Lead iOS Developers to join our friendly Mobile team.

 

Waracle adopt a remote first ethos and provide a set up allowance you can use towards a comfy chair or desk!  We have office space available in Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow and London if you miss that buzz in the office. This role will offer a hybrid working model from the London office (2 days per week). 

 

The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering happy customers, a team player, have excellent communication skills and have a proven track record in an agile project. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application; so, a sound knowledge of front-end technologies is preferable.

Requirements

  • Expert level skills in Swift and iOS SDK for mobile iOS application development.
  • Extensive experience writing sustainable code for RESTful web service APIs.
  • Experience of leading a software development team within an enterprise environment.
  • Solid knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, design principles and best practices.
  • Proven ability in writing unit tests and creating CI/CD pipelines.
  • Advising best practices relating to code and development to the wider team and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience within Financial Services or other highly regulated environments is highly desirable.

Recruitment process

The recruitment process you can expect for this role is an initial call with your dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner who will chat with you about Waracle, what you are looking for in a new position, the salary for the role, notice period and benefits (the important stuff!).

After that, will follow a Technical Exercise, followed by an interview where you have an opportunity to showcase your technical craft, find out more about the role and show off your skills and experience. The final stage will be an introduction to your new team and project.
