We are looking for an HR Director to join and lead exciting development plans as part of wider business progression.

Based in Central Scotland and able to work across Waracle office locations in Scotland and England as required,  in a hybrid remote working pattern.

The Role

This role will have true responsibility for the development and direction of the HR function as it pertains to service delivery and the wider group whilst reporting into the Chief Operating Officer. The HR Director will instil insightful, creative people solutions to align with and promote the organisations cultural, performance and development goals. This role will also support the setting of group business strategies.

Creation and development of progressive plans in areas such as performance management, well-being and talent attraction will form a large focal aspect of this role. You will ensure that policy is modern, equitable and engaging, leading to successful employee retention and future talent planning. As part of reviewing the EVP and its suitability, you will also lead the creation of an exciting employee focused reward strategy that ticks the boxes of best practice and a great market position.

As a leader in an ambitious company you will work collaboratively with the SLT on the strategic plans.

Some areas the role would include:

  • Developing and managing employee compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Developing and implementing performance management systems that align with the company’s goals and values, providing training and development opportunities to improve employee skills and productivity, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Creating and managing policies and procedures that promote a positive work environment and managing employee relations.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, including diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Using HR data to inform decision-making and improve HR programs and processes.
  • Designing and delivering leadership and management development programmes .

Requirements

  • You will have previous experience operating at board level, being a sound, trusted advisor to a progressive organisation.
  • You will have a proven capacity to build strong relationships, cultivating a respect based mindset internally.
  • You will bring new, rationalised ideas and solutions, focused on the organisation's commercial planning and be comfortable as an innovator.
  • You will have demonstrable experience in an ambitious, progressive HR and commercial operations ideally within a professional services, digital product environment.
  • MA, MBA or CIPD Qualifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in M&A
