As a Client Partner, you’re a proactive business developer and relationship-builder, uncovering opportunities for custom software development and services with potential clients and existing ones alike.

This position will offer hybrid working from our London office.

While this is a commercial role responsible for managing existing strategic clients and driving business development plans, at Waracle, we pride ourselves on doing the right thing for our clients.   • Demonstrable enterprise business development experience, with a strong focus on financial services.
  • Experience in senior revenue-generating roles with a track record of new client acquisition and developing client relationships that result in £1-3m of custom software development work or IT consulting.
  • Ability to lead the end to end sales cycle from lead generation and prospecting, to contract negotiations and onboarding.
  • Experience forging trusted-advisor relationships at the highest levels in clients organisations, creating the runway for sustainable growth and demand predictability.
  • You have experience navigating the people and political challenges of developing software in an enterprise environment and know the lifecycle of such engagements.
  • Ability to develop and execute account growth plans that align with our core services and capabilities in collaboration with Waracle’s technical and delivery leaders.
  • You are an excellent communicator who can influence the board level while having the flexibility and adaptability to collaborate with our teams on complex delivery solutions.
  • You are technically astute and follow key technology trends and practices, e.g. Enterprise IT Strategy, Cloud, Data, AI/ML, Customer Experience, Legacy Modernisation.

The recruitment process you can expect for this role is an initial call with your dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner who will chat with you about Waracle, what you are looking for in a new position, the salary for the role, notice period and benefits (the important stuff!). After that, will follow an introductory interview with the Hiring Manager. The final interview will be with senior members of the Client Partnerships team, where you have an opportunity to showcase your technical craft, find out more about the role and show off your skills and experience.
