As a Client Partner, you’re a proactive business developer and relationship-builder, understanding the challenges and opportunities of businesses in the digital age, uncovering opportunities for custom software development and services, and driving positive outcomes for our clients.

This role offers hybrid working from any of our Scotland offices (Dundee, Edinburgh or Glasgow) and is a commercial role with a focus on strategic account management and business growth within existing accounts.

As a Client Partner at Waracle, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ownership and management of a number of our enterprise-level accounts.
  • Forging strong relationships within our clients and developing strategic account growth plans that align with our core services and capabilities.
  • Identifying new opportunities within business units that have the potential for further development and executing them.
  • Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services and resources across our managed accounts.
  • Managing the end to end sales cycle from account new lead generation to contract negotiations and onboarding.
  • Engaging with Waracle’s technical and delivery specialists to craft tailored solutions for our clients, paving the way for ensuring growth within our accounts.
  • Working closely with project and delivery managers to ensure successful delivery of projects, mitigate potential risks and deliver exceptional service to clients.

Requirements

  • Strong experience managing multiple accounts of all sizes, ideally within Financial Services, Energy or Health.
  • Background within IT/Technology Consulting or Professional Services.
  • Proven track record of building solid relationships at senior levels of client organisations, understanding their business requirements and aligning them with our core services.
  • Strong ability to identify areas for growth and is proactive in up-selling and cross-selling additional services.
  • Understanding of digital product development lifecycles and how Waracle can create further demand and high-margin opportunities.
  • Experience executing growth strategies in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Technically astute and follow key technology trends and practices, e.g. Enterprise IT Strategy, Cloud, Data, AI/ML, Customer Experience, Legacy Modernisation.

Recruitment process

The recruitment process you can expect for this role is an initial call with your dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner who will chat with you about Waracle, what you are looking for in a new position, the salary for the role, notice period and benefits (the important stuff!).
After that, will follow a 2 introductory interviews with members of our leadership team. The final interview will involve a proposal task, where you have an opportunity to showcase your technical craft, find out more about the role and show off your skills and experience.
