As a Client Partner, you’re a proactive business developer and relationship-builder, understanding the challenges and opportunities of businesses in the digital age, uncovering opportunities for custom software development and services, and driving positive outcomes for our clients.

 

This position will offer hybrid working from any Waracle office (Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow or London) and is a commercial role focusing on strategic account management, business development within existing accounts and new client acquisition, primarily within Financial Services but also covering health and energy.

 

As a Client Partner at Waracle, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ownership and management of multiple enterprise-level accounts, primarily within Financial Services.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our client’s industry and business, strategic objectives, organisation, culture, people, technology, pain points and change agenda to understand the strategic partnership and commercial opportunities for Waracle.
  • Create, maintain and execute strategic account plans that define our strategic aspirations and executable growth and risk management plans that align with our core services and capabilities.
  • Develop strong and trusted senior-level relationships with our clients, understand individual goals and motivations and actively position Waracle as a high-value strategic partner.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and excellent overall service delivery. In collaboration with Waracle delivery teams, ensure seamless project delivery, mitigate risks and provide exceptional service and value.
  • Proactively identify and diligently pursue growth opportunities within accounts. Collaborate with Waracle’s technical and delivery experts to create custom solutions for our clients and manage the sales process end-to-end.
  • Accurately track sales leads and opportunities, manage commercials and report to senior management on account and opportunity status.

Requirements

  • A natural self-starter, entrepreneurial spirit, high energy, excellent communication skills, collaboration and high integrity.
  • Demonstrable experience directing the multi-year growth of large Financial Services accounts for a design/technology consulting business.
  • Experience within our other key verticals (Energy, Health or Pharma) would be a bonus.
  • Strong sales experience and the ability to identify, proactively pursue and win new business opportunities in both existing accounts and with prospective clients.
  • Excellent communicator who can influence at the board level while being flexible enough to collaborate with our teams on complex delivery solutions.
  • Understanding of the digital product development lifecycle and demonstrable understanding of technology and software delivery including design, agile delivery, mobile, web, cloud, data & AI.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with and guide multi-disciplinary teams to achieve goals and deliver to deadlines.
  • Ability to execute successfully in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.

Recruitment process

The recruitment process you can expect for this role is an initial call with your dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner who will chat with you about Waracle, what you are looking for in a new position, the salary for the role, notice period and benefits (the important stuff!).
After that, will follow a 2 introductory interviews with members of our leadership team. The final interview will involve a proposal task, where you have an opportunity to showcase your technical craft, find out more about the role and show off your skills and experience.
